Do you want to have cavies and rabbits together? Or do you already do, but are wary about it? Well read this article to find out your answer.

Cavies and rabbits- they look like such a perfect match, the cavy small, the rabbit big; they could just cuddle with each other, and be best of pals.
But that's on the outside, the inside is different! I never will just judge the cuteness of an animal ever since that one time when I was like 5 or 6 and my dad and I went up to this feedstore, and I saw these Russian Drawf Hamsters, and I wanted one so badly because they were 'cute'! I found out once I got them, they were evil little biters! Never liked them since!
That little short story tells you a lot for only some lines of print, NEVER JUDGE SOMETHING JUST FOR HOW IT LOOKS! Looks and personality are two WAY different things!
Now to get back on subject with the cavies and rabbits thing!
I've thought it was a good combo, and tried it. For a few years actually, I had my cavies with my one rabbit. His name was, Chocolate, he was a castor color Mini Rex, and was an unneutered buck.... Why would I add 'unneutered buck', when no one could really care? That's  because unneutered bucks are always ready to mate.... And cavies just look like little rabbits to them pretty much!!!! That's one reason why a unneutered buck and cavies aren't good together at all! And then its really gross when you don't know why your cavies are wet after the rabbit mounted your cavies!
Cavy and rabbit food is different; cavies need Vitamin C, since they cannot make it on their own, like humans and primates. While other animals make their own Vitamin C, that concludes rabbits too. And some rabbit food has some food chemical stuff or whatever you would call it that is really harmful to cavies! Oh,yea, and rabbits get diarrhea if they have too many greens or have any lettuce! And cavies NEED lots of greens because that's a lot of their source of nutrients! But guess what? Rabbits do NOT care if they are eating too many greens, and when they get the runs(diarrhea), it's really harmful for them, and when cavies get the runs, it's harmful for them! Rabbits also love to eat the cavy food, I mean who could resist food that taste so darn good?! I mean when it's infront of YOUR face, you aren't just going to watch the cavies eat it, when it smells soooo good, and you just LOVE the taste when you try it! Well rabbits can't resist cavy food! And then they eat pretty much ALL of the cavies' food, and that's their main source of vitamin C, so that's not good, since they could get scurvy(when you don't have enough vitamin C!). Then when you notice that, you give them more Parsley, oranges and all that good stuff that has good vitamin C amounts! Then the rabbit comes hopping through on its way to eat it all up! And the cavy really doesn't get a lot of it!
