It is still the season of winter; snow falling, rain pouring, coldness brushing upon
the silent scenery. Winter is the coldest time of the year, and one of the best times of the year to my opinion, because the
snow is awesome, and rain is cool, and the coldness is really nice since you don't need to sweat like in summer time. But
cavies aren't the best winter pets, due to the reason that they don't have thick, long fur coats like a miniature schanuzer,
so keep them warm, and if you must keep them outside follow the following tips:
> Use EXTRA hay for them to snuggle into
> Put blankets over their cage, or if you feel like doing some wash, put some blankets in with them
> Keep them in a warm shed with a heater
> Heat up their hutch or cage, or keep them inside a inclosed building
